Bright Ninos Autism Center is looking for caring, compassionate individuals that want to work with kids to see them thrive. At Bright Ninos, your work truly makes a difference! We are seeking Behavior Technicians to work 1:1 with clients. We utilize a results-oriented approach called applied behavior analysis (ABA therapy), which involves observing how our clients react to their environment and how they respond to people around them. As a behavior technician , you will engage in various activities to help build skills and social awareness.
This position is ideal for people who are natural caregivers, individuals who have a passion or interest in preschool teaching, teaching assistant, daycare, early childhood education, and care for individuals with special needs. 60 hours of paid training , no experience needed.
- Relevant experience working with children with special needs
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a caregiver's background check
- Ability to work in a group setting or 1:1 with client(s)
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and their families
- High school diploma
- Bachelor's degree in psychology , education, social work or a related field is preferred (not required)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
